About BallDrop

BallDrop is a free online random picker that works like a lottery machine. You add labeled balls to a virtual hopper, give each label a weight by adding more balls, and drop one out to draw a fair, random winner.

We built it to make random selection transparent and trustworthy. Unlike a simple random number behind the scenes, you can see the balls mix and drop, and you control exactly what happens to each result after it is drawn; return it, remove one ball, or remove it entirely.

Our commitment to fairness

Every draw uses a weighted random selection where each ball has a probability proportional to its count. The selection happens in your browser using the built-in random generator, and the same logic decides the winner regardless of the on-screen animation.

Who it is for

BallDrop is for anyone who needs a fair, visible random pick: organizers running raffles and giveaways, teachers calling on students, teams assigning tasks, and anyone making a quick decision between options.

The tool is free to use and supported by advertising. Your pools and draw history are stored only in your browser and never sent to a server. See our Privacy Policy for details.
